6th Annual International Design Awards 

Max Amato (BFA) won 1st Place in the Student Corporate Identity category and was named Emerging Graphic Designer of the Year in the International Design Awards competition for his restaurant identity project, "Junction."


Hallmark Internship Summer 2013

Sarah Karwoski (BFA 2013) was awarded a prestigious Hallmark Summer Internship.


Posterclash 2013, 4th Annual Juried Poster Competition

Two Graphic & Interactive Design majors took top prizes in Posterclash 2013: Korina Dabundo (1st Place) for Knowledge Speaks, Wisdom Listens and Lauren West (3rd Place) for Take Your Brain on a New Adventure, Everyday.


Creative Quarterly 31 (Summer 2013)

Graphic Design/ Winners: Sarah Surrette (BFA), Sarah Karowski (BFA), and Kelsey Jankausas (BFA).  Graphic Design/ Runners-Up: Grace Duong (BFA), Dana Mulranen (BFA) and Sarah Surrette (BFA).


Communication Arts, Illustration Annual

Tyler MFA candidate, Lydia Nichols, had her project "An Illustrated Guide to London" selected for inclusion in the May/June 2013 Illustration Annual. Way to go Lydia!


Tyler MFA student work featured on Fast Company

Current Tyler grad, Caleb Heisey, had his VIRTUOSO game design featured on Fast Company's website. Caleb's graduate work from Tyler's program has seriously gone viral. Congratulations Caleb! Check out more features at:

HOW International Design Annual 2013

Max Amato (BFA) received a Merit Award for his piece, The 27th Letter, in the How International Design  Annual 2013.


Campaign to Conserve Poster Exhibition Awards, 2013

The Campaign to Conserve Poster Exhibition is on view in the Tyler Atrium through February 2, 2013. The posters were designed by sophomores, juniors and MFA students in Graphic & Interactive Design to raise awareness and encourage action on electricity conservation in the Temple Community. The Campaign to Conserve is a campus-wide initiative of the Temple University Office of Sustainability. The exhibition was juried by Gavin Cooper and Michele Cooper, principals of FourFront in Philadelphia. Awards were funded by the Temple Unversity Office of Sustainability and Hallmark. First Prize: Rachel Kosbab (Sophomore); Second Prize: Bryan Satalino (MFA); Third Prize: Colleen Demenna (Sophomore); Honorable Mentions: Noopur Agarwal (MFA), Maureen McGirr (Junior), Mirim Seo (MFA), Christian Stewart (Sophomore), Lauren West (Sophomore); Temple University Office of Sustainability Award: Dahye Lee (MFA).
